Arlington Heights police responded about 9:40 p.m. Sunday to the 2800 block of Embers Lane to a report of a domestic disturbance. Few details are available, but the victim was not injured. A TASER was deployed, and paramedics were called for injuries to the offender and for care related to the TASER. Arlington Heights police followed the ambulance to the hospital, transporting the adult/male suspect in custody to Northwest Community Hospital.
The suspect was released from the hospital just before midnight and transported to Arlington Heights Police Department Headquarters
The TASER deployment was the second incident involving a TASER in less than 15 minutes. Buffalo Grove police used the TASER related to the capture of a battery suspect who was fleeing on foot in the area of Vernon Lane and Vernon Court.
