Arlington Heights police received a solicitor complaint about noon Saturday in the 1700 block of South Ridge Drive. Police received a report that two male/white teens came to the door and asked for money to support the troops overseas. The resident asked the teens if they had a permit, and they did not.
The teens were described as two male/white subjects about 16-years-old wearing baggie jeans, one wearing a white shirt and one wearing a black shirt with green stripes.
Police received a second report, apparently the same teen with the black shirt, in the 1400 block of South Kaspar Avenue about 3:00 p.m. Saturday, asking for money for a military cause. The teen was last seen heading northbound on Kaspar Avenue.
Police receive a third complaint about 3:25 p.m. Saturday for teens with the same description that knocked on the door and asked for the time. They were last seen heading southbound on Harvard Avenue toward Haven from Noyes.
Police caught up with the subjects near Princeton and Haven. No word on any arrests.
