... #ad▼Palatine firefighters and police responded about 2:15 a.m. Wednesday to a report of a carpet that was set on fire at a condo in the 1400 block of Katie Lane.
The fire was extinguished upon arrival of firefighters. One male transported to Palatine Police Department headquarters for investigation.
Police were called earlier — about 11:10 p.m. Tuesday — to the residence because two unwanted subjects would not leave the residence.
