Lawn Job at Greens Park Investigated in Connection to Recycling Can Hit-and-Run

Arlington Heights police received a report about 4:15 p.m. Friday that a driver of a blue minivan was observed driving on the property of Greens Park near Douglas and Olive Street. The vehicle damaged the grounds of the park district. The offending vehicle was described as a blue minivan.

Arlington Heights police also received a report about 2:45 p.m. Friday that two recycling bins were damaged by a hit-and-run vehicle in the 900 block of North Haddow Avenue.

Police also received a second report of recycling can damage about 2:50 p.m. Friday that a male driver in a dark green minivan struck recycling cans on Douglas and was last seen heading toward Oakton Street.

Police were also on the lookout for a dark, smaller SUV that struck ‘garbage cans’ near Haddow and Frederick. The vehicle was last seen heading eastbound on Frederick from Haddow Avenue.
