Illinois State Police about 1:20 p.m. Thursday arrested Frank Buffa, Tina Buffa, and Dominic Bak, after the three Lake in the Hills residents were suspected of possessing heroin during a traffic stop for speeding on I-290 near Elmhurst, just west of North Avenue. Each suspect was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to police.
The vehicle on the traffic stop was towed and all three suspects were transported in custody to DuPage County jail Thursday night.
