An Arlington Heights police officer on a traffic stop witnessed a fight of a group of people in a parking lot in front of a bar at 2216 Algonquin Road in Rolling Meadows about 3:20 a.m. Sunday. Simultaneously Rolling Meadows police received a report of about 40 people fighting at 2216 Algonquin Road.
The Arlington Heights police officer finished his traffic stop and was able to arrest one in the parking lot while most other subjects ran eastbound from the lot. Rolling Meadows officers and Arlington Heights policer arrived backup within a couple of minutes. Rolling Meadows arrest two subjects and transported them to Rolling Meadows Police Department Headquarters.
Arlington Heights police transported at least one subject in custody to Arlington Heights Police Department Headquarters.
Possible gang members were involved in the fight.
