UPDATED 7:58 a.m. Four Charged with Homicide in Arlington Heights …
Charges of armed robbery and first degree murder have been filed against four men: Matthew Nellessen, Marlon Green, Armon Braden, Azari Braden. The charges were the result of an investigation by Arlington Heights police and the Major Case Assistance Team after George Nellessen was found Thursday morning murdered in his home — bound and gagged and traumatized with sharp force instrument puncture wounds.
Mathew Nellessen, 19, of the 1000 block of North Wilshire Lane in Arlington Heights; Marlon Green, 20, of the 4200 block of South St. Lawrence in Chicago; Armon Braden, 20, of the 700 block of East 83rd Street in Chicago; and Azari Braden, 19, of the 2000 block of South Michigan Avenue in Chicago are all charged with armed robbery and first degree murder, according to a news released from the Arlington Heights Police Department.
Arlington Heights Police Investigators and Forensic Technicians with support from the Major Case Assistance Team determined that Mathew Nellessen was involved in a plan with the three other men to rob his father.
All four suspects are apparently in custody as a bond hearing for the suspects’ appearance is scheduled for Monday morning at the Rolling Meadows Courthouse.
