Charges are pending for the 19-year-old son of murder victim George Nellessen. According to police, George Nellessen suffered head and neck trauma and puncture wounds, that were consistent with what the medical examiner’s office referred to “multiple sharp force” injuries.
Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics found George Nellessen in his home on the 1000 block of Wilshire Lane Thursday morning after police received a 911 call at 8:45 a.m. and were on the scene within two minutes.
George Nellesson’s son was captured in East Dundee after a police pursuit from Roselle Road, just south of Harper College with George Nellessen’s pale green Lincoln Mercury Marquis. The Marquis was spotted by a Schaumburg police officer in an unmarked police car. The pursuit continued through Harper College campus at slow speeds and then westbound Route 62, to Route 25 and Route 72 where he was captured near Van Buren and William’s Place in East Dundee after a rear tire went flat.
