Simon Cowell is back on Fox with “The X Factor” — an American version of his hit singing competition in the United Kingdom.
Local auditions are scheduled for Wednesday, April 27, at the Sears Centre Arena, 5333 Prairie Stone Parkway, Hoffman Estates.
Auditions are held in front of 3,000 to 4,000 people.
Registration (required) begins at 6 a.m. Tuesday, April 26.
Hoffman Estates Sears Center is THE Chicago site location!
Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates is the only audition site in the Midwest, with others in the Dallas, Los Angeles, Miami, New York City and Seattle areas.
The minimum age requirement for “X Factor” contestants is 12.
