Kamofie and Company Jewelry Store Security Video Surveillance: Lindsay Lohan Trying on Necklace
Lindsay Lohan spent roughly 25 minutes wearing a necklace inside the Venice, California jewelry store Kamofie and Company, that has accused her of theft. A surveillance video broadcast Tuesday shows Lohan wearing a necklace inside the store.
A surveillance video, which was licensed to ET and its sister show “The Insider,” by Kamofie and Company shows four different camera angles and is 42 minutes in length. Christopher Spencer, a spokesman for the Kamofie and Company jewelry store states in a letter to the public that Kamofie and Company never gave permission to Ms. Lohan to remove the necklace from the store. Christopher Spencer also urges those interested in the case to allow the justice system to determine the outcome.
Most important, we were upset with the various mischaracterizations we were seeing and hearing about the video and its contents, and we felt the video should be allowed to speak for itself.
— Christopher Spencer (Kamofie and Company spokesman/necklacevideo.com)
The video was released to the public because, in the words of the spokesman, “The bottom line is we felt there was far too much speculation about the video recording, and that it was right for the public to be able to see the video itself.”
