WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY EXPIRED EARLY
A surface low passing through a further south path meant less snow for north, northwest, and west suburbs of Chicago overnight Thursday to Friday. The radar is also weakening, and a good part of the most intense radar is already east of Chicago’s longitude. Heaviest snow is expected south of Interstate 80. A winter weather advisory remains in effect for south suburbs, such as Romeoville, Bolingbrook, and Steger.
