Actor Delroy Lindo on playing a morally ambiguous politician in Shawn Ryan’s ‘The Chicago Code,’ which premiered Monday on Fox.
The Chicago Code (previously known as Ride-Along) is a police drama series that airs on Fox. The one-hour police drama is airing as a midseason replacement. The scheduled premiere was Monday, February 7, 2011 at 9 PM ET/8 PM CT. Production is mostly or completely finished for its upcoming season and took place in Chicago and River Forest, a western suburb of Chicago.

Shawn Ryan, Creator/Executive Producer is a native of Rockford, Illinois. He was the creator, writer and executive producer of “The Shield” 2002-2008. ,Jennifer Beals, playing the part of Chicago’s first police chief, was raised on the south side of Chicago. She is a star in the movie “Flashdance” and Showtime Network’s ‘The L Word.’
