The Christian Liberty Chargers beat Elgin Academy 55-41 at Grace Gym Wednesday night in the Class 1A regional at Grace Gym in Arlington Heights.
Ben Thomas scored 13 points and had 13 rebounds. Mike Hennek scored 9 points. Leader Luke Comerouski scored 23 points, had 10 rebounds and 3 steals to push Christian Liberty into Friday’s 7:30 p.m. championship game against top-seed North Shore Country Day, the winner of the semi-final against Chicagoland Jewish, 46-32.
The IHSA Class 1A Regional Championship is Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Grace Gymnasium.
