Arlington Heights police responded about 1:50 PM Thursday to a report of a shoplifter detained at Target, 1700 East Rand Road. Police received a report that a cooperative adult female shoplifter was detained by store security. Police arrested an adult female shoplifter and transported the woman in custody to Arlington Heights Police Headquarters.
