The Pima County, Arizona Sheriff’s department released a photo of a man wanted for questioning in the shooting of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords. The man who appears to be a white man with dark hair, 40-45 years old has been cleared.
An unidentified man was sought to determine whether he may have accompanied suspect Jared Loughner at the Safeway at the corner of Ina and Oracle roads in northwest Tucson, Arizona. Apparently he was seen in the vicinity of the shooting and walked in and out of the Safeway store before the shooting. Multiple news sources are reporting that he has been cleared.
The second man and the suspect walked together into the Safeway, but the man explained to police that he is a cab driver that brought Loughner to the scene of the shooting. Loughner only had a $20 bill, which was over the cost of the cab fare. Both subjects walked into the Safeway to get change for the $20 bill.
