Scores of firefighters battled a huge blaze in a four-story apartment complex in Philadelphia on Monday. Officials said the building had been evacuated safely and there were no reports of injuries.
Philadelphia firefighters responded about 2:30 p.m. to the Windermere Court complex apartments in West Philadelphia. The fire spread out of control with about 160 firefighters and 50 fire engines, ladder trucks and squads battled the blaze.
The 90-unit apartment complex was evacuated safely. No reports of injuries at the fire scene next-door to West Philadelphia High School.
