At 12:45 p.m. rain is southwest of Peoria, Illinois and freezing rain is defined by a small area west of Peoria to the Mississippi River. Otherwise snow and rain cover area is widespread to the west and south of Arlington Heights.
A wintry mix of rain, snow, freezing rain and sleet is expected through midnight. Tonight’s low is forecast at 32°F.
