An alert Buffalo Grove police officer discovered the offending vehicle from an earlier aggravated assault of a police officer case in Arlington Heights on Friday night. The offending vehicle, a red Chrysler, was eastbound on Dundee Road about 2:35 a.m. Saturday. The car was followed into Wheeling and stopped with multiple Buffalo Grove police units at Sarasota and Berskhire.
Two subjects were arrested in custody. Several Arlington Heights police units arrived minutes later to pick up the two prisoners. Both suspects were transported in custody to Arlington Heights Police Department headquarters. The driver’s vehicle was towed to Arlington Heights Police Department headquarters for further investigation.
