Arlington Heights police received a report about 5:20 p.m. Monday of a theft of of an airbag from a vehicle at Sullivan Pontiac, 777 West Dundee Road. Apparently, an offender or offender(s) removed an installed airbag from an unlocked gold 2011 Buick Enclave. The steering wheel airbag was removed. Arlington Heights police are investigating.
An airbag was also stolen from Grossinger Chevrolet, 151 E. Lake Cook Road between 10:30 p.m. January 15 and 9 a.m. January 17. The front passenger side window was smashed on a silver 2008 Chevy Equinox, and the driver’s side air bag was removed from the vehicle.
