Buffalo Grove police received a report about 11:30 AM Thursday of a ruse burglary in the 0-99 block of Newtown Drive. Police received a report that two men told a man’s grandfather that they were working on the neighbor’s house. Apparntly while one of the men was talking to the grandfather, the other man went into the house and took some items.
Some items were reported missing from the house. Buffalo Grove police are investigating.
