Arlington Heights police responded about 1:30 PM Thursday to a report of illegal dumping on Arlington Heights Road north of Rand Road near the water tower. Police received a report that subjects in a silver Chrysler minivan were dumping bags, possibly leaves in the area. The subjects reportedly threatened the caller with ‘we know where you live.’ Arlington Heights police are investigating. No word on any police contact with the subjects, and no arrests reported.
