The AT&T documentary features families affected by accidents that occurred while texting while driving a motor vehicle, and is being distributed to educators, government officials, safety organizations and public as part of an educational awareness campaign.
Studies show that a person is 23 times more likely to be involved in an accident when texting and driving (Virginia Tech Transportation Institute, 2009).
