Mount Prospect police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 2:20 AM Wednesday to a report of a rollover crash with entrapment in the 1800 block of South Anna Marie Drive. Police received a report of a woman trapped in her car that rolled over on the street in an apartment complex. While police were responding, they received a report that the woman got out of her car and was kicking her car. She then fled toward the courtyard of the apartment.
When police and firefighter/paramedics arrived, there were no victims in the car.
The woman that fled the car was described as a female/Hispanic, wearing a green jacket and a black hat.
Mount Prospect police are investigating. Police are checking whether the vehicle owner fled the scene or another driver was driving the vehicle. No word on any arrest or police contact with the offender.
