Ronni Sue Chasen, a prominent Hollywood publicist, was shot to death early Tuesday in Beverly Hills. Investigators have seized computers from Chasen’s business, but have not determined any suspects or motive for the crime.
Beverly Hills police and firefighter/paramedics responded to a report of gunfire and a car crash about 12:20 a.m. PT near the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Whittier Drive.
The shooting occurred just minutes after Hollywood publicist Ronni Chasen, 64, left a star-studded party to celebrate the premiere of the movie “Burlesque” on Tuesday, November 16. She was found in her crashed Mercedes-Benz with multiple gunshot wounds to her chest.
Detectives searched Chasen’s West Los Angeles home and her public relations firm for clues Tuesday. So far there are no suspects and no motive for the attack.
