Prospect Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 8:00 PM Friday to a hit-and-run crash with personal injuries at Palatine and Elmhurst in the express lanes of Palatine Road. The offending vehicle is described as a dark gray or black jeep type vehicle that was last seen westbound Palatine Road then northbound on Windsor.
The offending vehicle has heavy front-end damage. Prospect Heights police are investigating.
