Buffalo Grove police responded just after 6:50 p.m. Thursday to a strong arm robbery 770 South Buffalo Grove. A black purse was taken while a woman was behind the store. The offender was described as a male/white 6′ 2″ 180 LBS wearing a black jacket, gray hooded sweatshirt, and blue jeans. He fled toward the Oak Creek Condos condominiums behind Dominick’s. Police are searching the area at 6:55 p.m. with a K-9 unit added to the search.
