Prospect Heights police responded about 5:15 p.m. Friday to a home invasion in the 1300 block of Quaker Lane. A female offender is wanted for investigation of a home invasion where a female inside the residence was punched in the face. The offender’s description is a female/white 5’7″ 200 LBS, blond hair, blue eyes, scars on the left side of her face, tattoo over the left breast, and a flower tattoo on the right ankle. The offender fled in a black Chevy Blazer. Unknown if anything was taken. No information available on any injuries to the victim.
Fifteen minutes later a burglary-in-progress was reported in the 600 block of Piper Lane. Someone was breaking in to a unit and stealing equipment. Police found a shattered glass patio window on the ground floor.
