Arlington Heights police responded about 5:40 p.m. Sunday to a hit-and-run crash at Algonquin Road and Briarwood. No injuries reported. The offending vehicle was reported to be a red SUV that was last seen eastbound on Algonquin Road. Mount Prospect police officers were notified to be on the lookout for the vehicle, and are investigating along with Arlington Heights police.
