Arlington Heights police responded about 3:20 p.m. Tuesday to report of a battery against a Nicor Gas technician at a residence in the 700 block of East Northwest Highway. There was no physical fighting by the time police arrived at the apartment location above commercial property. The Nicor technician was waiting outside the building as police arrived. No word on any arrest.
