That’s Right, Paula Deen’s Sons in Celebrity Appearance at Mariano’s Today
Not satisfied with being a successful restauranteur and marketer, Jamie and brother Bobby began formulating their next steps, first appearing to rave reviews on their mother Paula’s shows on the Food Network, and then launching their own show, Road Tasted. The success of Road Tasted brought in a new audience to the Deen brand…slightly younger and more urban and hip, while losing none of the aspects that made the Deen brand successful. From there, the brothers launched three best selling standalone cookbooks; The Deen Bros. Cookbook-Recipes From the Road in 2007, Y’all Come Eat, released in 2008, and Take It Easy in 2009.
Today they will be making a celebrity appearance at Mariano’s Fresh Market in Arlington Heights, 802 East Northwest Highway.
The younger of the two Deen brothers, Bobby Deen joined the cooking family business at an earlier age, working with Paula in her at-home meal delivery business as a teenager, and eventually joining older brother Jamie in the running of The Lady and Sons as it launched.
