Arlington Heights police received a report about 5:00 p.m. Tuesday that an unknown offender or offenders damaged weather equipment on the roof of Westgate School, 500 South Dwyer. The offenders also smashed a milk crate and left several beer bottles and beer cans on the roof.
The crime is reported to have occurred between Friday, September 17th, 2010 at noon and Sunday, September 26th, 2010 at 1:00pm. These incidents usually occur overnight and on weekends.
The trespassing crime is an ongoing problem in the neighborhood. Unknown subjects have also been gaining access to the roof at Our Lady of the Wayside School, 432 South MItchell Avenue and leaving bottles, cans and chairs. Air conditioning units were overturned.
