Arlington Heights police received a report about 1:00 p.m. Wednesday of a burglary to vehicle in the 1700 block of North Ridge Avenue on a residential driveway. Police changed the call to a criminal damage to vehicle after investigation.
UPDATE: Attempted Theft of Motor Vehicle Parts: Unknown offender or offenders attempted to remove the catalytic converter from a 2007 Kia Sportage by sawing through the outlet pipe.
The crime is reported to have occurred between Wednesday, August 11th, 2010 at 8:00pm and Thursday, August 12th, 2010 at 8:00am.
