Hold Up Alarm at Liquor Store Results In Arrest

Arlington Heights police responded to hold up alarm about 9:45 p.m. Saturday. Police arrived to find that the person that hit the hold up alarm button didn’t call for help for a hold up, but was calling for another crime. Police had surrounded the store, expecting a hold up, but ended up arresting a suspect for another crime — details not available. One male was transported in custody to Arlington Heights police headquarters just after 10 p.m.
