Arlington Heights police responded just after 9:40 p.m. Friday to a report that a male known by a female victim was breaking into the house in the 1000 block of North Evergreen Avenue. The male described as 5’10” 180 LBS wearing a white shirt broke into the front door by breaking a glass window near the front door and finding the victim in the house. Arlington Heights police arrived within three minutes and the male was in custody within five minutes.
Arlington Heights transported one male in custody to Arlington Heights police headquarters.
The call came in just as a second wave of severe thunderstorms passed through Arlington Heights on Friday.
