Debrahlee Lorenzana: I’m know Angelina Jolie, I’m no Eva Mendes.
A woman in New York is suing Citibank claiming she was fired from her $70,000 per year job for looking too attractive. Debrahlee Lorenzana, 33, claims her bosses at Citibank fired her because her body image was reportedly “too distracting” for her male colleagues.
Lorenzana, a single mother, says she was told “she must refrain from wearing certain items of clothing, in particular, turtleneck tops, pencil skirts, fitted business suits, or other properly tailored clothing” because the form-fitting fashion drew too much attention around the office.
