Wheeling police responded to an armed robbery that occurred at the Target parking lot, 1400 Lake Cook Road, 1:00 p.m. Sunday. The offender robbed a victim of U.S. cash and an Apple iPod. The offender was described as a male/Hispanic, height not defined/250 lbs, 35 years-old, bald with a goatee. The offender had a tear drop tattoo by his eye and a Latin Disciple tattoo on his right arm. The offender was also wearing a pink and white T-shirt. The offender fled in a red pickup truck with an extended cab.
Wheeling police are investigating.
