Witnesses told police on the scene that the offending vehicle pulled into the Merlin’s muffler dealer parking lot, and them fled eastbound on Seegers. Police were searching the area south of Seegers and north of Algonquin Road and east of Arlington Heights Road.

Just before 5:10 p.m. Arlington Heights police had received a call that a black Toyota Camry was driven across the grass at Tanglewood Apartments, damaging the grass — and parked in a fire lane.
