Silver Honda or Toyota Involved in Hit-and-Run with Palatine FD Paramedic Ambulance.

Arlington Heights police were searching the area just after 1:15 p.m. Tuesday for a hit-and-run vehicle that crashed into a Palatine Fire Department rescue-ambulance that was transporting a patient to Northwest Community Hospital. A silver Honda or Toyota fled the scene near the intersection of Northwest Highway and Wilke. The Palatine Fire Department ambulance continued to Northwest Community Hospital. The crash occurred about 1:15 p.m. Tuesday. No damage visible on the ambulance parked near the emergency room.
