Vandalism to signs at Greens Slopes park near the tennis courts.
Arlington Heights police received a report about 10:45 p.m. Thursday of criminal damage to property at Green Slopes park near 1400 North Douglas Avenue and Marion. Signs were painted over with a silver or gray paint. Recently criminal damage to property was reported at Hickory Meadows park across Douglas Avenue on Friday, April 9, 2010. An offender or offenders ignited contents of a metal waste can and used a white marker to write graffiti on the walls and poles at the park district building.
