Schaumburg police received a report about 3:20 p.m. Sunday that a ‘man with a gun’ was involved in a fight among a group of male/Hispanics at Woodfield near a Nordstrom lower level (outside). Schaumburg police were on the scene in seconds and were searching for a male that was running near Hooters on the northwest side of the Woodfield property.
A later report came out that witnesses said the offenders were male/blacks. No witness actually saw a gun. Someone, apparently claimed to know that one of the subjects had a gun.
