Mount Prospect police caught two drivers who were drag racing eastbound on Golf Road near Route 83. Both cars were clocked at about 82 mph and were pulled over in the Butera lot in the 700 block of West Golf Road in Des Plaines at about 10:10 p.m. Police first observed the drag race at Golf and Lancaster Street.
Two male adults were taken into custody by Mount Prospect police. Both men were transported to Mount Prospect Police Department headquarters at about 10:25 p.m.
