Elgin Police Department arrested a 17 year-old male for a gang-related drive-by shooting on northbound Shales Parkway near Chaparral Circle. Elgin police were looking for at least two Asian male suspects for investigation regarding the drive-by-shooting Friday morning just before 11:00 a.m. An Altima and a black Lexus were northbound on Shales Parkway near Chaparral Circle when an offender in the black Lexus fired a weapon at people inside a Nissan Altima. Several bullets hit the Altima — two penetrating the windshield.
