The Will County Coroner identified four crash victims that were killed instantly on Weber Road in Crest Hill as Romeoville residents Adolfo Bejarano, 22, and Juan C. Pinto, 32; Plainfield resident Shaun M. Kavanagh, 30; and Channahon resident Anthony A. Maniscalli Jr., 27.
The black Lexus they were driving flipped and rolled. At first investigators were not sure whether or not the car hit utility poles and a tree that were at the crash scene. An accident reconstruction team from the Illinois State Police is investigating the crash.
A Juan Pinto of Romeoville is reported to have past brushes with the law, and is also reported to be the plaintiff in a lawsuit alleging police misconduct against the Romeoville Police Department.
