Illinois State Police requested paramedics and firefighters about 10:50 a.m. Friday for a car that crashed into the concrete barrier on Interstate 90 over Golf Road. Arlington Heights Fire Department sent a pin-in response, but was on the scene for only about 15 minutes. Possibly minor injuries for the crash on the I-90.

Illinois State Police are also investigating the source of concrete pieces that were found scattered on the westbound lanes of Interstate 90 and damaged 20 vehicles near Arlington Heights Road. Several vehicles also ended up with flat tires.
The debris was cleared up by noon by IDOT maintenance truck crews, who also helped motorists with their flat tires.
