Arlington Heights police officers were searching for a person who made suicidal comments Sunday night. The young male left the Northwest Community Hospital campus and crossed Central Road about 8:15 p.m. He then headed southbound near the grounds of Arlington Lakes and the military base, just south of Northwest Community Hospital.
Police tracked footprints in the snow to a point near Magnolia Street and Salem Lane in Arlington Heights. Palatine Police Department’s K-9 units assisted with tracking of the man, who was found in another suburb and transported by paramedics to a hospital.
