Arlington Heights police responded to the 400 block of East Orchard Lane about 11:00 p.m. Friday for the report of at least two offenders attempting to break in to a vehicle in the 400 block of East Orchard Lane. One of the offenders was reported captured and being held by a citizen. Arlington Heights police responded in less than a minute and took custody of one offender. One other offender was at large.
The one offender that got away was described as a male/Hispanic, 17 years-old, 5′ 7″ with a thin build and black spiked hair. He was wearing a black hoodie and dark jeans, and was last seen running westbound on Orchard Lane.
