Mount Prospect police and firefighter/paramedics responded to a four-car crash with rollover at the intersection of Busse Road and Palm at about 5:00 p.m. Wednesday. At least three people were injured, and three ambulances were called to the scene — two Mount Prospect Fire Department rescue/ambulances and one Elk Grove Township rescue/ambulance. It appeared that at least one of the people may have had serious injuries.
The accident was reported as an accident requiring extrication for people trapped in a car, but all people were out walking around when firefighters arrived.
A second accident without injuries occurred on Golf Road, just west of Busse Road. Two vehicles collided near an exit to a shopping center at the southwest corner of Golf Road and Busse Road. Both vehicles had moderate to heavy damage to the fronts of the vehicles — a Ford Focus and a small pickup truck.
