Thomas Young, 22, who left Gina Dominick’s body in the Prospect Heights Library parking lot after she died of a heroin overdose, has been sentenced to 24 months probation by Judge Kay Hanlon in the Rolling Meadows circuit court. He must submit to random drug testing and enter a drug treatment program.
Prior charges of concealing a homicide were dropped.
As part of the plea agreement, Andrew Young, who was Gina’s boyfriend, admitted to striking Gina Dominick, 20, in the face. Witnesses who found the body, already stiff from rigor mortis, had noticed facial injuries and also something suspicious around her waist, according to third party sources.
Andrew Hall, who originally faced charges of drug-induced homicide, pleaded guilty to delivery of a controlled substance on August 17, 2009. He faces four years in prison. Gina Dominick’s body was found dead by a little league coach on June 30, 2008 in her car in the parking lot of the Prospect Heights Public Library — less than one block from where Thomas Young lived.
