Arlington Heights police received a report about 1:15 a.m. Tuesday of a drive-by shooting into an apartment window in the 1000 block of East Algonquin Road. Arlington Heights police responded and question two male Hispanics who were unrelated to the case in the Com Ed right of way near Algonquin Road and Dempster. The resident of the apartment was also out pursuing the offenders. No known arrests occurred related to the case. A white vehicle was seen fleeing the scene. Two Hispanic males were also reported fleeing the seen toward Mansard Lane.
Upon examination of the window, which was broken, police found BB’s or pellets embedded near the broken window at the apartment in the 1000 block of East Algonquin Road.
