Two armed robbers stole a purse from a female guest in a hotel parking lot near the Holiday Inn Express, 1550 North Roselle Road around 10:25 p.m. Tuesday night. A male robber pointed a handgun at a 23-year-old female and demanded purse. The second male offender grabbed the purse, and both men fled walking southbound toward Remington Circle. Schaumbug police are investigation and a K-9 search was performed.
Offenders were described as male/Hispanics, 25-30 years old, 5 ‘ 7″ tall, and wearing dark blue hooded shirts.
Homestead Studio Suites Hotels is just around the corner from the location of the Holiday Inn Express. The 21 Kristin Place Apartments and Interstate 90 are also located just to the north of the crime scene.
